September 15-19, 2025
BACKGROUND. The Structured Operational Research and Training Initiative (SORT IT) aims to strengthen health systems in combating antimicrobial resistance and emerging infections. Supported by TDR and implemented in collaboration with Ministries of Health, WHO country offices, and SORT IT partners, this initiative has yielded over 90 high-quality research studies with significant policy and practice implications. These studies are accessible at: [https://tdr.who.int/activities/sort-it-operational-research-and-training/communicating-research-findings]. Among them, seventeen publications originated from Ghana, addressing various aspects of antimicrobial resistance across human, agricultural, and environmental sector.
